SuziCate's Musings

Little Gypsy Girl

Quietly she emerged

A petal and leaf at a time

Yellow and green came to life

In a wild gypsy sun-kissed girl

She tossed her golden scarves into the wind,

And lifted her leafy skirts above her head

As she danced into the night

She tapped and twirled in the heat of day

Until the sun drew the drifter home

We had already fallen for her charm

Our tears were not enough to save her

  1. Nicely described. 🙂 The flower reminds me of sunshine.
