SuziCate's Musings

Salvia’s Dance

She emerges from slumber,

untangling the scarlet fabrics of her skirt.

Layers of satin fall upon the ground

as she glides through a sunlit garden.

Salvia throws back her head,

sarong trailing as she clicks her fingers

to the beat of a lover’s breeze.

A tattered hem hangs about her vibrancy.
