The sunlight tap dances
across pine needles and cones
and shimmers through trees
Half of my elementary school yard looked like this. Made thanksgiving turkey and Christmas decs from pine cones and ran and played it the shade. All gone now. Due to over population and over crowding not a tree left, Replaced by 3 dozen ugly trailers serving as classrooms.
How sad that is! The woods make a much funner playground and learning space than trailers!
you caught the spirit of the forest so wondrously.
The forest is a magical place…
I’m looking for a book the dance of the forest
There is one on Amazon by Wole Soyinka. Is that the one you’re looking for?
