SuziCate's Musings

Beware

a yellow warning

death is around the corner

this autumn tells us

winter is now past

spring lit the world with color

fragrance and bird song

air is now summer

daytime sun, night time fireflies

bullfrogs croak time on

autumn lingers near

to beware death once again

just to spring to life

  1. Fall has always made me very blue. Everything is dying and showing such brilliant colors right before they croak. Spring! Thank God it comes!

    • sorry it makes you sad. It’s my favorite…love the earth tones, and the wind, and the hope of spring after winter…mostly I’m probably just tired of the summer heat and humidity!

  2. Lovely poem depicting the cycle of the seasons, so predictable, and so beautiful. Blessings to you…
